I have been a renewable energy professional and enterpreneur for the past 23 years. By starting GreenfieldCities.org, I would like to dedicate my working experience and energy to helping to curb the Middle East Refugee Crisis.
Just like with the transition to cleaner energy, I firmly believe that we need different thinking for real solutions to migration challenges.
By thinking in opportunities as opposed to problems, and by using long term institutional commitments and proven technical and political and financial solutions, we can turn the idea of short term emergency safe havens into a reality of safe and thriving cities in or near Middle East conflict zones.
It won’t be easy, but I personally think that it is easier than most people think. So let’s go for it!
